Mikkel lives in North Idaho with her husband, Tyler, two children, two cats, a pooch, and a flock of hens. Her interest in true health was sparked almost three decades ago as she witnessed her father's cancer journey. Fascinated by healing ever since, Mikkel has studied and explored a breadth of topics and approaches.

After earning a Bachelor's in Biology with the intent to study naturopathy, life took her in a different direction. She's now clear about her role in helping build a new paradigm of care, outside of established systems, that is earnestly committed to addressing root causes and doing no harm.

Mikkel has formal training as a Bikram Yoga Teacher, Ergonomics Consultant, Functional Nutrition Counselor, Craniosacral Therapist, and Quantum Coach.   She enjoys helping family, friends, and a client or two at a time reach their health goals and often collaborates with other professionals who have complimentary skills to achieve the best outcomes.

 

Currently, her focus is on optimizing ionization and bioterrain, regulating circadian rhythms, and supporting the body with foundational and recognizable components such as oxygen, hydrogen, minerals, isopathics, and tissue salts. Technology such as Brown's Gas, hyperbaric oxygen, infrared devices, photobiomodulation, and frequency generators are utilized as appropriate. Mikkel believes that increasing vitality can be much simpler than we make it if we restore the body's full healing capacity and then get out of the way. She also understands the utmost importance of spiritual and emotional growth and development in overall wellness and knows that each individual is their own best healer and fully in charge of their personal journey.

Mikkel loves creating memories with her family, frequenting local mountains and beaches as much as possible. She also teaches math at a private high school, works on musical projects via Aethers Reach, and operates Danny's Place with Tyler. Danny's Place is named in her father's honor.
